WHY??

It was one of those times when I went to have Maggi at a favourite joint in Pune with a friend on chilly december evening. After the more than satisfying  treat we had..we got on our bike heading towards our home. Just when I was enjoying the wintry feel, my friend popped up this question...Why do we feel more cold after having food?? I replied  almost without a glitch... There are somethings in life you needn't know the answer for! Why don't you rather enjoy the weather...so pleasant..so entralling! He seemed to like my reply a bit too much. That night I was thinking that so many good moments of our life just go past us..only because we are wondering about why this? why that?? how this? how that?? So much so that after a point of time we actually tend to completely ignore any beautiful moment we could have experienced.

I did not find the answer to my friend's query...and I won't even try to..!! Because I believe in this simple thing "Life is Like That". There are simple little things like an extra dish being served to us in a restaurant, a sudden pour of rains on a sunny day, a child playing in mud, a couple getting intimate on the roadside, an oldie checking out a young girl in the park...things we do not see...or rather want to see beauty in..! We are just too busy asking questions like WHY?? On a bad date we again ask ourselves WHY?? On a surprise visit by a n old friend we think..HOW??  I don't know what kind of answers do people look for...I simply smile to myself and murmur..Life is Like That.. :) Trust me..I have found no better way to stay happy, lively and moreover care free to situations good or bad..called or uncalled for!

I said this to myself on getting surprise b'day bashes for two years in a row...and also on being back-stabbed by a 'so called friend' thrice...It works wonders..There is no better statement that answers every event of life in a more apt way..

Try saying this to yourself when the next time a dear friend forgets your b'day...when you miss a flight..and things will seem so simple..coz Life's Like That...simple and enjoyable..
